This workshop is designed to take the mystery out of creating a painting digitally from a photographic image.  Though developed with the photographer in mind, anyone who is new to the world of digital painting will find this course easy to understand and implement.

This course is compatible with Corel's Painter X3 , Painter 2015, Painter 2016 and Painter 2017.

*The workshop will include over 5 hours of video tutorials, plus my new digital oil brushes and canvases!
*In this course you will learn how to create digital oil paintings from your own images, working right on top of a photograph. No previous drawing or painting experience is necessary!
*YOU WILL BE PAINTING BY NIGHTFALL!

This course will cover:
1. The basics of design such as composition, color and focal point
2. The advantages of digital painting over traditional media
3. How to navigate Painter and use the tools that are already familiar to you from other image editing software programs
4. Setting up an easy and navigable Painter workspace
4. How to use just a few digital brushes and get them perform the way you want them to.
5. Creating luscious oil paintings and then enhancing them to add pop and vibrancy to our work
6. Recommendations for printing
